(Hour 1a, b) Controversial comments were made by several public officials at yesterday’s meeting of the School Board in Merrimack. The most controversial coming from NH Board of Education member Gregory O’Dell regarding the City of Manchester. Quote: “What can we MAKE Manchester do (on standards)? Can we take it over to make sure the (Common Core) standards are upheld?” Seems that some members of the state Board of Education are not impressed with Manchester’s decision to develop its own standards…
