The Fourth of July rainout made for good family television time.

Riley educated us on colonial times justice, Portsmouth style, involving a stolen cow.  We learned about navigation acts that could have severely hindered trade, if the laws had been enforced.

Also, a fascinating newspaper accounting of vigilante justice.
