MANCHESTER, NH – Please be advised that the City of Manchester has opened the Emergency Operation Center (EOC) at 100 Merrimack Street as of 7:00 AM this morning.  The EOC is operating at a staffing level 2 which includes representatives from city departments along with Public Service of New Hampshire (PSNH).  The EOC will continue to be staffed for the duration of the weather event.

City residents can call the EOC at 668-1547 to report down tree limbs, wires and power outages.  Residents with life-threatening emergencies should call 9-1-1.

A snow emergency remains in effect through Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at 12:00pm.  City residents are encouraged to stay off city streets to allow roads to be cleared by the Department of Public Works.

The city is operating with essential personal only.  City Hall is closed today in addition to all other city departments.
