Vicki Abeles, author and film director visited Inside Education today and talked about her latest book, Beyond Measure and her film of the same name. In 2009 Vicki directed the film Race To Nowhere which changed the conversation about education in America. Today’s discussions focused particularly on homework, testing and the stress and anxiety they help bring about. Vicki refers to them as the “silent epidemic” that has created “an education culture gone crazy.”Part 1
