Sid GlassnerWith Dr. Denise Benner, a professor at Southern New Hampshire University as his guest,  Sid began a review of early childhood education.  Beginning with a discussion of the Head Start program which began in 1965,  Dr. Benner and Sid looked at issues surrounding early childhood education such as the influence of federal programs, the concept and importance of play in the lives of our youngest students, the nature of formal and informal instruction, the meaning of quality in early childhood programs and began a discussion on the latest brain research and its implications for the education of early childhood students.
