(Hours 3a,b,c) Sid GlassnerSid Glassner, Senior Fellow with the New England Society for the Study of Education, shared Common Core stories with Rich.  They discussed a statement made from Hillary Clinton about Common Core being a political failure.  Sid then talked about some of the benefits of Common Core to those who are behind the scenes.

(Hour 3b) Sid talked to Rich about Federal grant programs for Is Our Children Learning.  He shared about the Harlem Center in New York and what happened once their college prep program emerged as a success.  They then discussed comments made by Secretary of Education John King regarding homeschooling and those who are involved in the process.
