I am happy that 60 Minutes verified what I feel is a slow walk to my last blog “A-I am the end of the World.” They pointed to tonight- 4/9/ 2017- to confirm a small group of people like Google and Facebook will “direct” your attention, guide your eyes, and persuade your choices. Madison Avenue is one thing but advertisement based on subliminal and computer data studies directed responses are getting more and more defined into controlling our actions via decisions we are compelled to make. The process actually has effects on dopamine production, a very substantial physical determinant. Today our phones, tomorrow a chip from Elon Musk’s vision project from his NeuroLink company or some variant co-opted by the government. Please see my prior BLOG. So I hope we all will be fore warned, there is coming a very fine line that will induce its will over our independence and it is not our family, loved wife, or heroes but Artificial Intelligence controlled by ???? As 60 Minutes exposed, so few affect a...

A-I am the end of the World

The next new dawn of technology may be the end of individualism and the world as we think it. Many believe freedom of thought is already over controlled now with so much government regulation, over sight, and “political correctness” to force feed us into accepting a personal gut feeling we feel or may think to reject or to force decisions in our lives or labels upon us. Or to tie our lives into following a maze of doctrines and rules created by others. Our being here is not justified when we personally are not interested in a life style of others, or have another opinion, or may live by facts and logic yet are ostracized even when we have done no other harm than think this way. Freedom to think and be without oversight is getting more and more restricted daily. We are told to “accept” as normal and embrace “correctly” something that personally we may feel is foreign to our individual make up. If we do not we are rejected or “pressed” to be re-programmed by laws to accept that which may be against the fiber of our essence, a peaceful essence, now considered anti social simply because we think out side the political “correct” dogma at this moment in time. It is creating a cultural polarized civil war but one new formula in technology, today known as “code”, as in computer code, may decide...

Chronicling radical Islamic terror through the ages

Terrorism is a desperate action of the insane or fanatical or both and it is criminally anti religious legal doctrine. I know personally how close it came to my family and did to my co- workers at American Airlines;   Yet religion is, nearly, for all nations- the founding basis for their laws. The United States laws provides for equal protection of religious freedom but first and foremost its leaders duties are to protect “Life and liberty” with the least amount of lost freedoms. Statistical logic, not emotions must look at facts, we have not outlawed any religion, nor...

The United States: The threat to our military power

The United States.    What will be our next fifty years in the world power struggles as the world population nearly doubles in that time period? Yes think about it, a fight for- energy, food, water, and land while keeping an environment that will sustain the world? Who will have it and who will not? Who will want to take it is the most important question and how? It can be economically by buying it all if they can or by force if they can’t, the most likely option. These are think tank questions that have to be addressed today...

The United States. United by What?

I have a family grand father clock in my house that is still ticking away since Thomas Jefferson was President. By the time our family had voted for Jefferson we had roots that were 180 years old here and prior family members had defied King George

Unfit GOP nominee? It’s deja vu all over again!

It’s déjà vu all over again. As John McCain’s Independent Chairman in 2000 I heard one assault after another how he was unfit to be president. His experience in the Hanoi Hilton had permanently affected his mental character to be unfit for president. He had an illegitimate black daughter and his wife was a drug addict! Shameless and unfounded in any facts as it was, like today, a press corps willing to do the bidding then schlepped their supposedly presentation of “news”. Sadly it was just character assassination which they spun like a spider web of deception. The John Q public actually believed the mud slinging as in today with Trump, and Romney in 2012 and it was numbing diversion over substance. The play dialog stays the same, like Shakespeare, but the Democrats substitute the current names of the front runner and sell the garbage and stink. Come on people, stop being sophomoric junior high droids believing this dribble instead of your gut, instincts, wallet, and America’s contract with you- the Constitution. None of the press understands the Constitution; they never mention it, just the dribble and you have to get beyond the cover up of issues suppressed with character bombs. Jobs, manufacturing, debt, terrorism, wages, international security, Obama Care, and finally the Supreme Court- rulers of the law that affect us all- the Constitution, and its future should...

Frost: I have a better choice, Trump/Pence

Jeff Frost is a former Manchester City Republican Committee Chairman who supported Gov. John Kasich in the primary election.  We publish this letter to the editor as submitted and encourage your comments and submissions.  ~Publius Make no mistake about it Hillary’s real VP is Bill, her husband, who will roam the White House after dark and long after her Vice President has returned to the VP residence at 1 Observatory Circle. Bill Clinton, like Hillary when Bill was President, will have profound influence on her policies and decisions. Team Hillbillary will reinstitute the Arkansas red neck back slapping and scratching deals and self centered enrichments that have plagued the country’s conscious for decades. Hillary was a complete failure in the tasks she took on as first lady. Her own public career was hardly any better. Bill may be too busy with his latest concubine to interfere but doubtful, in the end it is their combine sociopathic ego and ambitions equaling House of Cards lore that scares the distrusting hell out all of us. No one can point to one Hillary success of note, not even her, yet dozens of investigations exist into illegal activity, national security, and policy decisions like Benghazi, uranium to Russia, and emails. Then there was the bimbo control and cover up intimidation tactics against these women from Hillbillary. Like Pig Pen from the Peanuts comic...
