The buying of local food may be a little more expensive than purchasing it in a grocery store, but it keeps money within the community AND cuts Greenhouse Gasses. Yeah, that’s right.  Buying local helps the environment because of transportation across country.  We’ll take it.

Farmer’s Markets were also on the topic and where to find local goods during this frigid winter.
