Doris Hohensee(Hour 1a, b) Doris Hohensee, Chairwoman of NH Families for Education, is sounding the alarm on what she sees happening in Concord at the Department of Education.  Over 100 pages of new rules include changes to the rights of parents to due process when they object to teaching materials.  “They don’t want to see parents in front of the Board of Education.”  Doris cited specific items where changes are being sought that would mandate comprehensive psychological services WITHOUT parental consent.  Doris claims they’ve exceeded their authority and unless we challenge them in court, we’ll be stuck with these rule changes.  Changes that include Behavior Modification classes.  And data-based decision-making.  And it’s ALL part of Common Core!  Tune in for the entire worrisome interview.  And learn more about NH Families for Education.
