Woman Sought for Stabbing

MANCHESTER, NH- On Saturday, April 27, 2013, at about 3:30 PM, Manchester Police responded to a Cherry Ave address for a reported stabbing.  On arrival, they found a 19 year old woman with an apparent stab wound to her abdomen.

According to the victim and several witnesses, she had been stabbed by an acquaintance, identified as:

Lourdes Fraser
18 years old
Manchester, NH

Fraser had arrived at the address in a vehicle and engaged the victim in a verbal altercation.  The victim’s mother also became involved in the dispute, during which the victim saw that the Fraser possessed a knife.  Concerned for her mother’s safety, the victim stepped in between Fraser and her mother and ultimately engaged in a physical fight with Fraser, during which she sustained a stab wound to her stomach.

The victim was transported by ambulance to Elliot Hospital where she was treated for a serious stab wound.  Fraser remains at large, wanted on a warrant for First Degree Assault.  Anyone with information on the whereabouts of this suspect is encouraged to contact the Manchester Police at 668-8711.  Anonymous tips for cash rewards can be made through Manchester Crimeline at 624-4040 or on lien at manchestercrimeline.org.

Pennsylvania Man Robbed at ATM

MANCHESTER, NH- On Sunday, April 28, 2013, at about 11:40 PM, Manchester Police responded to the Mobile Station on Eddy Road for a report of a robbery.  On arrival, they met with a 39 year old man who had sustained injuries to his face and head, from which he was bleeding.

According to the man, he was in New Hampshire on business and had reportedly been robbed at an ATM somewhere on Manchester’s west side.  Because he was unfamiliar with the area, he could not be more specific as to where the robbery occurred other than to say it was in the area of the Econolodge Hotel.

The man told Ofc. Robert Megowen that he had pulled up to an ATM in his vehicle and withdrew money.  Upon receiving the cash, he placed it into his wallet, which he then placed into his pants pocket.  It was at that time that an unknown man jumped into the passenger seat of his rental vehicle, described as a 2013 silver Ford Taurus with Maryland plates.

The suspect told the man to withdraw some more money form the ATM and the victim complied with that demand, handing this second withdrawal of cash over to the suspect, who also took the man’s cell phone, which had been clipped to his belt.

The suspect then directed the victim to drive the car to the rear of a nearby building, where the suspect proceeded to assault the victim, possibly with an unknown blunt weapon, causing injuries to his face and head.  The suspect then took the man’s wallet from his pants pocket and fled.  The victim, who reportedly lost consciousness during the assault, could describe the suspect only as a black male with short black hair and wearing a black jacket.

Anyone with information about this incident is encouraged to contact the Manchester Police at 668-8711.  Anonymous tips for cash rewards can be made through Manchester Crimeline at 624-4040 or on lien at manchestercrimeline.org.

Man Sought in Connection to Sunday Afternoon Gunfire

MANCHESTER, NH- On Sunday, April 28, 2013, at about 2:00 PM, Manchester Police responded to the area of Wilson Street and Hanover Street for a report of gunshots.  On arrival, police met with several area residents who reported hearing 3-4 gunshots.

Several witnesses reported that the gunfire came from a silver SUV, possibly a Dodge Durango, with New Hampshire plates, occupied by two men described as Hispanic males.  Witnesses reported the driver of the SUV had fired several shots from the vehicle before it headed north on Wilson Street, from the area of Hanover Street.

Officers on scene then located a 25 year old Wilson Street resident who told Ofc. Tim Feliciano that he had just had a confrontation with the driver of the SUV, whom he identified as:

Jesus Luis Rodriguez
23 years old
Manchester, NH

He was acquainted with Rodriguez due to an ongoing dispute between the men over a woman.  In fact, according to the Wilson Street man, Rodriguez had already threatened him once with a handgun during an accidental encounter at MB Barber Shop at 416 Belmont Street.

On April 19th at about 4:45 PM, the victim had entered the barber shop and found Rodriguez seated in a chair.  At that time, Rodriguez reportedly lifted his shirt, displaying a handgun tucked into his waistband and stating, to the victim “this is for you.”  The victim left the barber shop and there was no further interaction between the two men that day.

On Sunday, however, the victim was outside his residence working on his vehicle when he saw the SUV, operated by Rodriguez, stop at the end of his driveway.  He noticed that Rodriguez was holding a handgun as he spoke to the passenger in the vehicle.  He then heard Rodriguez call out to him, referencing how easy it had been to find the victim, mentioning that he could kill him right at that moment.

The victim reportedly laughed off the comment, continuing to work on his car and avoid confrontation when he suddenly heard several gunshots before the SUV sped away.  Ofc. Feldhouse later located the suspect vehicle and developed information that linked Rodriguez to the vehicle.  Based on further investigation by Det. Ken Loui, warrants were obtained for Rodriguez’s arrest on charges of felony Criminal Threatening and Reckless Conduct.

Rodriguez should be considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached.  Anyone with information on the whereabouts of this suspect is encouraged to contact the Manchester Police at 668-8711.  Anonymous tips for cash rewards can be made through Manchester Crimeline at 624-4040 or on lien at manchestercrimeline.org.
