MPD Investigating Residential Burglaries

MANCHESTER, NH- On Monday. May 13, 2013, at about 12:30 PM, Manchester Police responded to a report of a burglary in progress at a house on Island Pond Road.  A man had seen a subject running form the rear door of a neighbor’s home.

On arrival, police discovered that a portion of glass on a rear door had apparently been shattered with a brick for entry, although northing appeared to have been taken from the residence.

The male suspect seen fleeing the home is described as a bald, white male, about 6’00” tall with a stocky build.  He was last seen wearing a green t-shirt with white lettering; dark shorts and white sneakers.  It is believed he left the area in a royal blue vehicle described as possibly a Chrysler PT Cruiser.

A short time later, police responded to a Candia Road address where workers had discovered burglary at the home.  It appears the glass panel on a side door was shattered for entry and prescription medication and a small jewelry box removed from inside the residence.
