(Hour 1b) Rich isn’t surprised about Councilor Christopher Pappas voting to confirm Board of Education nominee Bill Duncan yesterday. Rich read and challenged the statement released by Pappas explaining his decision.
Our humble host also challenged Duncan himself, a man with no professional educational experience. He is an avid opponent to the very Charter schools that he will now have a major say on. Duncan is also an advocate for the Common Core curriculum who criticizes opponents of Common Core with superior credentials.

Chris Pappas was the deciding vote. Folks in EC4 have better choices. Apparently Duncan is not opposed to foundations, corporations, and NGOs running the PUBLIC schools, so of course he supports Charters!
