Sid Glassner(Hour 3b, c)

(Hour 3b) Senior Fellow Sid Glassner saluted the troops in anticipation of Veteran’s Day.  We saluted Sid for his service, too!

Glassner shared his disappointment for the very little conversation on Public Education during the last election cycle.

He believes candidates like Marilinda Garcia missed a golden opportunity to call out Annie Kuster & her Democrat comrades for their undying support of the U.S. Department of Education.

(Hour 3c) Glassner attempted to take a 5th grade language arts smarter balanced exam.  The results were frustrating, to say the least.  Glassner doesn’t believe such a complicated process is condusive to a 5th grade education.

Glassner gave us updates from California in the ongoing battle against Common Core.  He also analyzed the enormous costs.

Money NOT well spent in a $6oo BILLION industry.
