Ed Naile(Hour 1c) Ed Naile, Chairman of the Coalition of NH Taxpayers, called in to sing the praises of NH resident David Scott for his efforts to clean up voter lists in his own backyard.

Here’s the link to Section 654:38 on the Verification of Checklists

Here’s the response from the NH Ballot Law Commission that Ed discussed.

Dear David Scott,

As chairman of the State Ballot Law Commission, I am writing to confirm receipt of your letter of December 4, 2014 to Secretary Gardiner, with the attached petition under NHRSA 654:38.  The Secretary of State’s Office has forwarded the petition to me, having verified the signatures on the petition.  As I read the statute, we need to set a hearing, advertise it, and then hold it, which I would propose doing after the first of the year.  For the convenience of the citizens, I would propose holding the hearing in Dover.  I am copying the City Attorney of Dover, Anthony Blenkinsop, on this message.  Should you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.

Sincerely,

Bradford E. Cook, Chairman

Ballot Law Commission
