(Hour 2a) Turns out Mayor Gatsas played hero on Friday night after his friend overdosed.  Rich talks about the stress of life in the public eye, especially on families and why Alderman Joe Kelly Levasseur’s outing Manchester School Board Vice Chairman’s and former Senator Kelly Ayotte’s State Director David Wihby’s trip to the hospital was just the wrong thing to do.

Publisher’s note:  We’ve changed the original headline (Levasseur outs Wihby overdose) in response to a complaint from Alderman Levasseur.  We published the original headline because Alderman Levasseur’s original social media post (published below the SoundCloud audio player) led to the media inquiries that discovered the reason for Wihby’s hospitalization.  We maintain that had he not gone public with Wihby’s private medical situation, the police report and the details contained there in would have remained unknown.

Dave Wihby is truly one the good guy politicians to work here in Manchester who is facing a fall from grace. He is in ICU tonight as a result of this tragic story. Keep your fingers crossed that he pulls through. Please say prayers for him and his wonderful wife and children.
