(Hours 2c,3a) Tim SoucyWe were joined by Manchester Health Officer Tim Soucy for Public Health and Wellness.  Tim talked to us about the former CA Hoitt Furniture building.  They discussed services provided, the utilization of the building and more.  We then took a call from Sarah in Manchester who wanted to display her concerns over Manchester’s school policy regarding head lice, which caused an unusual stretch in the segment.  Finally, we then heard about some upcoming events.

(Hour 3a) Rich started by commenting on his discussion with Tim and Sarah.  He shared that he does not agree with Tim’s stance in the matter.  He told us that he has heard from a number of parents who had an issue with the current situation.  He spoke about his family’s experience with lice.  He then took a call from Lisa Freeman, who wondered what prompted the policy change.
