(Hours 3b,c) Rich and Sid Glassner, Senior Fellow with the New England Society for the Study of Education, started Is Our Children Learning by talking about President-Elect Donald Trump’s appointment of Betsy DeVos as Secretary of Education.  They then tackled the issue of special education within Charter Schools.

(Hour 3c) Rich and Sid took a call from Lisa Freeman, who wanted to return to the issue of special education in charter schools.  Sid then talked about an issue with poetry in schools, before they discussed Governor Chris Sununu’s nomination of former gubernatorial candidate Frank Edelblut as the State Commissioner of Education.
