(Hours 3b,c) Rich spoke to Sid Glassner, Senior Fellow with the New England Society for the Study of Education, for Is Our Children Learning.  They discussed the recent confirmation of Frank Edelblut as Commissioner of Education and Betsy DeVos as Secretary of Education.  Sid wondered who Edelblut is going to surround himself with and they debated about whether or not to expect civil discourse.

(Hour 3c) Rich and Sid continued to address the concerns over Frank Edelblut’s lack of conventional experience for the Commissioner of Education position, while wondering what good Debra Livingston’s background did for education in the state while she held the position.  They then discussed personalized learning, harmful education and the school choice movement.
