For Immediate Release

MANCHESTER, NH  September 3, 2021–The campaign of Manchester Republican mayoral candidate Rich Girard released the video of a so called “one person debate” hosted by www.ManchesterInkLink.com Assistant Editor Andrew Sylvia.  Girard was offered the one person debate interview after rivals Victoria Sullivan and Mayor Joyce Craig refused to accept the publications invitation to debate before the primary.  As of this writing, neither Sullivan nor Craig had scheduled their “one person debate” with Sylvia.

The questions asked came from Ink Link readers and were chosen at random by number by Girard.  The questions were grouped into five categories, “Housing &Homelessness,”  “Public Safety,” “Education,” “Infrastructure & Business,” and “Other.”  including and were chosen sequentially from each category.  The interview lasted about an hour and Girard answered multiple questions from each category.

“I would like to thank Andrew Sylvia and Manchester Ink Link for both trying to arrange a debate between the three candidates for mayor and providing an opportunity to answer questions from their readership.  While I would have preferred sharing the stage with Joyce and Victoria an believe voters would have been better served had they agreed to debate, I nonetheless enjoyed the opportunity to answer many great questions from Ink Link’s readers.  I would be happy to answer any further questions from anyone who watches the video, too.  I am also happy to visit with any group that would like to discuss their concerns and my candidacy.  They may contact me at [email protected]  Thank you!”
