About Tim Soucy:

Tim Soucy, a Manchester, New Hampshire native, has been with the City of Manchester Health Department since 1990. In December 2006, he was named Public Health Director for the City of Manchester by Mayor Frank Guinta. Prior to being named Public Health Director, Mr. Soucy served as an Environmental Health Specialist, Chief of the Division of Environmental Health, and Administrator of the Public Health Preparedness Program.

Mr. Soucy holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from the University of Vermont and a Masters Degree in Public Health from Boston University where he was also inducted into Delta Omega, the Public Health Honor Society. Mr. Soucy is a Registered Environmental Health Specialist with the National Environmental Health Association, and has received advanced training from the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and the US Department of Homeland Security (DHS).

Mr. Soucy is a graduate of the 2005 Leadership New Hampshire Program and was recognized by the Union Leader and Business & Industry Association of New Hampshire as one of their 2004 “40 Under Forty.” Mr. Soucy is a frequent guest lecturer at the University of New Hampshire and currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Mental Health Center of Greater Manchester and Families in Transition’s Housing Benefits.
