Ward 8 School Board Member Erika Conners prompted a conversation via Facebook, which was used to reiterate a request that Mayor Ted Gatsas’ proposed meeting with Bill Sanders include the Board of Mayor and Aldermen and discuss a whole lot of financial information that nobody on the school board seemed to care about until after the Gatsas vetoed the teacher’s contract. Then, he brought to the fore a discussion of what happens when “math deniers” win the argument.
