The Fireworks have been postponed due to the inclement weather and will now be held

on Saturday, July 5th at dusk (approximately 9:00pm).  The best viewing areas are Tsienneto Road, Folsom Road, Crystal Ave, and Hood Commons.

Here’s the rest of Derry’s 4th of July Schedule.

4TH OF JULY FIREWORKS will be held on Friday July 4th at Dusk (approximately 9pm).  Best viewing areas are along Tsienneto Rd, Hood Commons, Folsom Rd and Crystal Ave.  Rain Date is Saturday July 5th.
FRIDAY JULY 4TH is the RUN FOR FREEDOM 5K/10K to support your local veterans. Packet pick up is at 6:15am a the Pinkerton Academy Track in Derry, NH.  Start time is 7:30am for both the 5K and 10K. A registration fee of $25/$30 on Race Day.  Bring a CANNED FOOD donation to help local food shelters.  All proceeds go to Liberty House, sponsored by the Manchester VFW.
FRIDAY JULY 4TH ALL PARKS ARE OPEN ,weather permitting, but there will be no crafts or activities.  Hood Park is open 10:00a – 6:00p. Gallien’s Town Beach is open 10:00a – 7:00p.  Don Ball Park and the Splashpad is open 10:00a – 6:30p.  The Derry Parks & Recreation Office is CLOSED for the 4th of July Holiday.
A YOUTH FISHING DERBY is scheduled for Saturday July 5th at Beaver Lake in Derry.  Registrations begin at 7:30am at the Gallien’s Beach Parking Area.  LINES INfishing begins on Beaver Lake from Boats, Docks and from Shore.  LINES OUT fishing ends at noon where you bring your longest fish back to the parking area at Gallien’s Beach. Awards Ceremony for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd longest fish (1 per angler) begins at 1pm.
