Arthur Green(Hour 2a, b)

(Hour 2a) A funny thing happens when you run the numbers for the Timberlane Regional School District using basic math instead of everyday math: they don’t add up!

Timberlane Budget Committee member Arthur Green shared with us why per pupil costs rising while enrollment numbers plunge is a really bad equation for Timberlane taxpayers.

(Hour 2b) What is driving the cost increases?  “Overstaffing,” claims Green, and he examined the bloated numbers with our annoyed host.

Green also addressed the misuse of unanticipated funds returned to the town from the Local Government Center.  Another big check is coming in the mail soon.  Is the Timberlane School Board finally getting the message that public hearings are required BEFORE spending any of the money?
