Like so many others running for School Board this year Ross Terrio is running because he has children in the school system and wants to make it the best it could possibly be. This should come as no surprise because when he saw problems in Concord he decided to do something about it. He ran for State Representative and won! As a State Representative he wanted to make sure that government lived within its means while still providing top-notch services. Ross Terrio succeeded in that mission and now he wants to bring his problem solving expertise to the School Board.

In his own words:

Why am I running for School Board? I want to ensure that Manchester students get a great education. I care about the Manchester public schools because my three children are all enrolled. I volunteer as a teacher’s aide and see the problems that face our schools such as large class size. I also want to fix school reorganization, redistricting and minimize the affect of budget cuts. I will negotiate with the Mayor and Aldermen in an open and honest manner to resolve problems and find solutions without the use of tricks and threats, as has the current school committee.

Biography:

Ross Terrio is a jack of all trades but the bottom line is he likes to be involved. His occupation is a pharmacist, but Ross is also a State Representative representing Ward 7. In the little time he has left, he is a volunteer and teacher’s aide.
