| In the first hour, Rich announces school closures and delays and then laments the fact that schools are closing despite the fact that it’s not even snowing! Steve and Christian try to show him the magic of the “snow day” but Rich will not be swayed. Rich kicks off the second hour with a listener phone call concerning the 2 year extension of the contract with the city’s police which became a major topic of the first segment. Later in the hour, Rich got a visit from Dennis Kochanek from the Blazeman Foundation for ALS. The Foundation was founded in the memory of Jon “Blazeman” Blais, the only victim of ALS to ever compete in the Iron Man Triathalon. |
