The Manchester Police Department is seeking help from the public to catch a man who robbed Union Street Market at approximately 8:15 PM on Wednesday, March 23, 2016.  Jeevan Adhikari, the store clerk, said that he was robbed by a man with what appeared to be a large, hunting style knife before Officer Peter Flanagan had arrived to the scene.

Adhikari described the suspect as a Caucasian male in his early twenties, approximately 5’07 to 5’10  in height, and having a slender to average build.  The suspect was last seen wearing a dark brown winter coat, dark green pants, and a black mask that covered half of his face.

 

After taking cash from the cash register, the robber fled on foot heading north on Union Street.
