Sadly, lots of people talk about violence and its consequences but it’s often not actually SEEN by most people so there’s little understanding of what’s being discussed.  Be it the savage slicing of Iryna Zarutska’s throat on a Charlotte, NC subway train by a someone, yet again, out on cashless bail or the assassination of Charlie Kirk, lots of people are talking but not so many are seeing.

I wanted to show people, after appropriate warnings, the evil violence that had been perpetrated against these two innocent victims on the Girard at Large television show to open up the discussion about how our society had become so sick and how to make it better.  I was barred from doing so by MPTS Director Jason Cote, asserting that the videos violated the station’s policies against airing violent content, despite the policy allowing it if proper warnings were given in advance of the content being aired.  While he was within his right to do so per that policy, he did so without any discussion and refused to answer any inquiry made with anything but his dictate that it won’t air.

The content is disturbing.  It is upsetting.  It is violent.  Because of this, it must be seen so that people can begin to fathom what really happened.  In the Charlotte case, the assault that robbed the 23 year old Ukrainian refugee of her life is only half the issue.  The other half is how nobody not one of the people who witnessed the attack did anything to come to her aid as she lay in a heap on the floor bleeding out after her jugular was slit.  In fact, surveillance video shows people leaving their seats to move away from her or not moving at all.  What is that?

We had hoped to share that on our TV show.  Thankfully, we have this medium that can’t be censored.  We hope you watch and warn you, in no uncertain terms, it is graphic, not suitable for children or the faint of heart, real world violence that’s very different from what you’d see in a movie.
