(Hour 1a) Our humble host couldn’t wait to share what he witnessed at last night’s School Board meeting in Hooksett, including an “evil eye” encounter with Union Leader reporter Ben Klein. Crazy stuff. Even crazier, the City Solicitor’s letter clearing Alderman at Large Joe Kelly Levasseur of any wrongdoing in the complaint from Alderman Phil Greazzo.

I formally nominate Richard H. Girard for The Ron Ziegler Award for Most Bumbling Attempt to Aid & Abet a Political Cover-Up. (For you readers born after the Baby Boom, Ziegler was the White House press secretary for disgraced President Richard Nixon, who seemingly is Phil Greazzo’s role model.)
Actually, it would appear as if what we reported all along, that there was no evidence of lapse, was entirely true. I think perhaps I deserve a Pulitzer Prize.

But who is fooled by your ongoing and increasingly unfruitful collaboration with Phil “The Macbeth of Ward 10” Greazzo and Tammy “The Lady Macbeth of The Squog” Simmons? (Was it Tammy who was your spy-cum-blogger at the Board of Mayor and Alderman meeting?) Anyone can see through you and them. And you wonder why “Union Leader” reporter Ben Klein treats you with such contempt? P.S. My use of Latin ought to set your alter ego off on one of his homoerotic-cum-homophobic rants.
Poor Hopwood. You are overcome with hysteria once again. You think people will not notice that you have been a purveyor of lies for several months if you cast enough aspersions against those who have exposed you. Each and every allegation I have made about the sorts of people you consort with is entirely true. I am not the one who chose these friends (and their peculiar habits) for you. You have been revealed as someone who spread lies about a public officeholder in the attempt to influence voter opinion. There is no refuting this. You alleged there was an insurance coverage lapse. There was no such lapse. You alleged that funds from the Dog Park were used to make a $10,000 donation to the NH state Republican Party. There was no such donation. You alleged that there were other fiscal improprieties in the Dog Park. Every single bank statement of the Dog Park has been released and, yet again, no such improprieties of any sort were to be found. You alleged some sort of sinister political power was being wielded by the Board overseeing the Dog Park. Again, zero evidence to support such a claim. A reasonable person is left to conclude that all of the lies were nothing more than a partisan political hatchet job. You can continue with your quaint use of Latin if you wish but there is no denying that the people with whom you associate are precisely as I have described them.
Once again, proof that there was no evidence of any wrongdoing at the Manchester Dog Park. The insurance coverage never lapsed for even a single day, there was no financial mismanagement and there was no misappropriation of funds in any manner or form. Every allegation that the Hopwoods of the world made prior to the election has been completely discredited and found to be false. We are left with the unmasking of those who knowingly spread false allegations and rumors of wrongdoing to tarnish the reputation of a fine elected official. Now, unfortunately, the taxpayers of our great city will feel the pain brought on by the results of this last election. They have replaced a man who defended their wallets and checkbooks with a union rubber stamp and they will suffer for it.
