Kimberly Morin 1(Hour 3b) Kimberly Morin of Examiner.com joined us to discuss a few more of the ways Concord is dictating terms to NH businesses.  SB 295 would prohibit an employer from using credit checks in screening employees, with a few exceptions including the government.  SB 390 would prohibit discrimination of victims of domestic violence.

Morin described both bills and how they would hurt the hiring/ firing process and potentially increase liability for businesses.

HB 350 would prohibit discrimination against folks who have been unemployed for extended periods of time.  We need state legislation for that?  OH MY HEAD!
