NH Candidates Take Anti-Broadbased Tax Pledge for 2014

CONCORD, NH — The Coalition of NH Taxpayers, NH’s most active taxpayer advocacy group, has posted the list of NH candidates who have taken their basic taxpayer protection pledge.

The Pledge is non-partisan and all candidates are invited to participate. It is NH’s most basic Pledge, originating from former NH Governor Meldrim Thomson. The listings, found here, http://cnht.org/pledgers.php include candidates for Governor, Executive Council, State Senate, and State Representative, the latter organized by County and District.

“We are pleased that so many candidates have Pledged to protect the taxpayers of NH,” said Ed Naile, Chairman.

“We hope that these listings will help the voters make informed decisions on primary day September 9th 2014, and beyond,” he added.

For candidates who have not taken the Pledge, late additions and corrections can and will be made right up to the general election on the CNHT website, so voters should check back often.

Coalition of New Hampshire Taxpayers is a local, non-partisan, non-profit group that is funded by small donors from the State of New Hampshire.
