Sid Glassner(Hour 3b, c)

(Hour 3b) Sex Education in the schools? ¬†Senior Fellow Sid Glassner talked about his days teaching and “taking a stand” when it came to what he deemed to be inappropriate classroom materials.

He discussed the situation in today’s public schools and addressed the challenges parents might face in knowing what their kids are being taught.

(Hour 3c) Rich and Sid had an in-depth conversation about the importance of the parent/ teacher relationship.  It can be a tricky one, to say the least.

Glassner also stressed the importance for parents to understand their own value as their child’s first teacher.
