(Hours 2a,b) Rich started the segment by talking about yesterday’s Chamber of Commerce mixer at Fisher Cat stadium.  He spoke about a renovation to their seating area, before sharing his opinion on the city’s struggle in maintaining the upkeep of the environment.  He discussed the delegation of funds for environmental maintenance and informed the listeners about the Queen City’s announcement regarding a search for volunteers to assist in improving the area.

(Hour 2b) Rich pointed out that if people enjoy going to the downtown area then you won’t have to come up with programs to entice people to visit.  He shared his disapproval in the Department of Public Works’ handling of maintenance and wondered about the city’s initiative to have her taxpaying residents get involved in the beautification efforts.
