Fortitude Health & Training Celebrate Grand Opening with a week of FREE classes
“The Fort” is a new health & fitness club opening in Manchester

Manchester, NH – Fortitude Health & Training, a new Health & Fitness Club located at 775 Canal Street, will open their doors on Monday, October 15th with a week of free classes to celebrate their Grand Opening.  Their Grand Opening celebration will take place Friday, October 19th from 4:00-6:00pm with a Mayoral ribbon cutting at 5:15pm. The public is encouraged to attend.  Fortitude Health & Training, referred to as “The Fort”, is owned and operated by Danielle Bicknell and Lisa Maria-Booth, who have worked together for more than 17 years and are both certified personal trainers.

“For Lisa and me, it’s all about building a strong relationship with our clients in order to help them reach their goals”, stated owner Danielle Bicknell.  “We have programs available for people of all levels, from the beginner stepping into the gym for the first time to the marathon runner.”  Fortitude Health & Training provides classes six days a week beginning at 6:00 a.m. each day.  “The Fort” offers a wide range of classes and services including individualized personal training, Core poweryoga classes, Healthy Living/Weightloss classes, Bootcamp, kickboxing and more.  During their opening week, The Fort will be offering all their classes free of charge and offering discount memberships to anyone who signs up during the week.  Anyone who attendees a class during the week will also be entered into a raffle to win a free one-year membership.

“We are the friendliest drill sergeants you will find,” stated owner Lisa Maria-Booth, who in addition to being a certified personal trainer is also a certified nutrition and wellness coach.  Lisa has developed the ‘Why Weight?’ program, which is a six-week program that focuses on weight loss and fitness training.  The ‘Why Weight?’ program takes the Weight Watchers concept to the next level.  “Rather than just encouraging people to eat healthier, the Why Weight program teaches people how to eat healthily while also motivating them to exercise, which significantly increases weight loss and personal confidence”, stated Maria-Booth.  To encourage and motivate their clients when they are not at the gym, Lisa utilizes www.myfitnesspal.com which allows her to track the clients progress and provide motivational tools, recipes and training tips to the client.  “We have had great success with the ‘Why Weight?’ program; we had some male participants lose 20 pounds, and all of our students who were committed saw amazing results”.

The public is encouraged to attend the Grand Opening celebration on Friday, October 19th from 4:00-6:00pm with a ribbon cutting at 5:15pm, and drop in for any of their free classes offered from October 15th-19th.  For more information about Fortitude Health & Training and their class schedule please visit http://www.fortitudeht.com or call 603-854-2002.
