Arnold Campaign Hires Campaign Team, Opens Office, to Deliver Policy Speech

Manchester, NH — Alderman Patrick Arnold announced today that he has hired a veteran campaign team, opened a campaign office, and is set to deliver a policy speech outlining several major initiatives to move the city of Manchester forward.

Kevin Hodges will serve as campaign manager. Hodges is a veteran of several local races, including Bob Backus’s 2006 campaign for State Senate against Ted Gatsas. Backus came within 300 votes of unseating Gatsas – the closest race Gatsas has ever faced.

The Dover Group, led by New Hampshire native and campaign expert Chris Esposito, will handle direct mail communications. Esposito has worked on New Hampshire campaigns for Governor, U.S. Senate, and U.S. Congress. Seven of the eight NH races Chris has been involved with included Manchester turf.

Huck Montgomery, who headed up Chris Pappas’s successful campaign for the Executive Council in 2012, will continue to serve as a consultant to the campaign.

The Arnold for Mayor campaign headquarters will be located at 1117 Elm Street, behind Bridge Cafe. Interested residents are invited to stop by to pick up a lawn sign, learn more about the campaign, or volunteer to reach voters in their neighborhood.

Alderman Arnold will outline several major policy initiatives on Tuesday, August 20 at Noon in the Aldermanic Chambers at City Hall. Alderman Arnold will address his vision for improving Manchester’s school district, halting skyrocketing violent crime, and developing innovative new ways to grow Manchester’s economy and create good jobs for local workers.

“I am thrilled to have a great team in place as we work to bring new leadership to Manchester. We are building momentum, and communicating our plans for progress to city voters. I am especially looking forward to our platform rollout next week,” says Arnold.
