(Hour 2c) Mike Lopez called in from Lally Square. He introduced us to Margaret Ann Moran, the niece of Francis Peter “Pat” Lally.
Lally Square is located on Manchester’s West Side at the intersection of Woodbury, Boynton and South Main.
Moran shared the history of the young man who joined the Army one day after Pearl Harbor and was killed in action on November 24, 1943.
Just for the record, Francis P.”Pat” Lally did not serve in the Army, he served in the Navy. Secondly, he did not join the service the day after Pearl Harbor was attacked but in January 1942. Please correct you post.
