(Hour 3 b,c)  ann marie and richWe covered the importance of killing HB323 and why putting into statute, would be dangerous.  For instance parents cannot opt out if PACE assessments prove to be just as problematic as the Smarter Balanced Assessment.  Students have to pass these competencies to move on.

I also filed a Right To Know Request to the NH Dept. of Education on the new national science standards.  Has the DoE already decided to adopt these standards without any public input?  Cornerstone is asking the tough questions on yet another attempt to use science standards that may be just as problematic as the Common Core English and Math Standards.

One district almost had  lawsuit. Schools push it on students and parents because they don’t want to lose funding. It doesn’t boil down to what is best for you child. It boils down to money.
