(Hours 3a,b,c) Sid GlassnerSid Glassner, Senior Fellow with the New England Society for the Study of Education, talked about his time in the military, as he and Rich recognized the U.S. Marine Corps’ birthday.  They then talked about a school board meeting in Exeter, which was designed to get feedback from the public concerning educational issues.  Tune in for information about future meetings.

(Hour 3b) Rich and Sid discussed Massachusetts‘ rejection of the Charter Expansion in the recent elections.  They talked about campaigning for the issue and shared their respective approaches to the issue.  Tune in to hear the debate that ensued.

(Hour 3c) Rich and Sid continued in their discussion concerning charter schools.  Rich shared his opinion that the less that government gets involved in charter schools the better, before taking a call from Arthur in Sandown.
