For Immediate Release

MANCHESTER, NH  July 19, 2021–The campaign of Republican Manchester mayoral candidate Richard Girard released the endorsement today of former Manchester Republican Committee Chairman Jeff Frost.  Frost, a Marine veteran, businessman and former Chairman of the Manchester American Red Cross, specialized in rehabbing Victorian properties, winning a Historic Preservation Award from the Manchester Historic Association for his work on the Carpenter House, one of the city’s true architectural gems on Elm Street.

In accepting the endorsement, Girard praised Frost for his steadfastness.  “Jeff is loyal to principles and never surrenders when the facts are in his favor.  I’ve seen him stand for himself and others when right and proper and it’s inspiring.  He is unafraid to speak the truth as he knows it, yet he’s very approachable and will work with anyone who is willing to work with him.  He has tremendous integrity and I trust him and his judgement.  When the heavy stuff is coming down, Jeff Frost is someone you want on and by your side and I’m grateful he’s on board with our campaign.”

Statement of support from Former MRC Chairman Jeff Frost:

I would like to endorse Rich Girard for Mayor of Manchester. He is a city native and I have known Rich for many years since I moved back to NH out of military service in 1991. As the former Manchester Republican Committee Chairman in 2011 and later the American Red Cross Manchester Chapter chairman I very much appreciate Rich Girard’s public service record and the sacrifices he has made for the city while bringing up his family in Manchester.

As a Manchester family and businessman, he has the experience, veracity, acumen, and compassionate moral compass to lead the city in the right direction.

As a fiscal conservative his history has been to keep the average Manchester family’s tax burdens in mind insisting on spending fairly and responsibly to maximize the efficiencies of the City Departments. Like all great Executive leaders, he wants the best value for the spending dollars coming out of the household checkbooks and property taxes.

His thoughtful common sense city-wide leadership as a former Alderman at Large, and later, as a Board of School Committee member rounds out his needed Executive experience. He will advance the needs of the state’s largest city. Having had my business and brought up two girls in Manchester I feel very confident in Rich Girard to succeed in fighting for the best education, safety, fiscal sanity, and all-around public experience needed to promote the city’s progress, wellbeing, and future.

I whole heartily urge you to vote for Rich Girard to be the next Mayor of Manchester.
