Robert: Reward announced

Attorney General Joseph A. Foster and Police Chief Enoch Willard announces a reward of up to $17,500 for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for the murder of Denise Robert.  Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000) of this reward was donated by an anonymous donor.  Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000) of this reward was donated by the Union Leader Corporation, the Union Leader Charitable Foundation, Denise Robert’s co-workers and fellow members of the New Hampshire NewsGuild and friends.  Twenty-five Hundred Dollars ($2,500) of this reward was donated by the Manchester Police Crime Line.  Public support continues and we anticipate that the reward may be higher pending several businesses reaching out on behalf of the Robert family.  At this time, a tipster may be eligible to collect $17,500.

Manchester Crimeline will facilitate the reward, which will be granted to the person or persons who provides a tip leading to the arrest and conviction of a suspect(s) involved in this murder.  You can contact the Manchester Police Crimeline at (603) 624-4040 or log onto www.manchestercrimeline.org for additional information.  Manchester Crimeline respects your privacy, so you can report your tip while maintaining your anonymity.

As previously reported, at approximately 9:00 p.m., on Sunday, August 30, 2015, the Manchester Police Department received a 911 call reporting a person in the road.  Officers responded to the area of Ray and Carpenter Streets.  When they arrived, they discovered Ms. Robert in the road, deceased.

The investigation has also revealed that a loud firecracker-type noise was heard and a pickup truck was seen quickly leaving the area.  Police continue to work to locate the pickup truck and speak with its driver.  The witnesses interviewed at this time describe the pickup and the driver as: a dark colored pickup truck driven by a white male in his 20’s to 30’s, with short, cropped hair.

Ms. Robert was wearing white New Balance sneakers, white jean-type shorts with a white belt, and a long-sleeved, white and dark purple (almost black) striped shirt.

Anyone in the city who has a home security or video surveillance system is asked to review the tapes to determine if Ms. Robert, her vehicle, or the pickup truck was captured.

Anyone who saw Ms. Robert on Sunday, August, 30, 2015, or who saw the pickup truck/driver described by the witnesses or who has any information regarding Ms. Robert’s murder is asked to call the Manchester Police Department at (603) 668-8711 or anonymously at Manchester Crimeline at (603) 624-4040.

Lastly, since August 31, 2015, the Manchester Police have received approximately a dozen tips about Ms. Robert’s murder.  The police continue to follow-up on each of these leads and continue to investigate every aspect of this murder.  It is crucial that any person who has any information regarding this murder report to the police what information is known to them, no matter how inconsequential the person believes the information may be.
